Repurposed galvanised dustbin lid Ceiling Light/Pendant Light

I wanted to buy a galvanised dustbin lid pendant light after seeing one on the BBC's The Great Interior Design Challenge. After a fruitless search of the internet I decided to make one for myself.

So I did and here is my Repurposed galvanised dustbin lid Ceiling Light/Pendant Light.

Blue flex, galvanised chain and nickel fittings.

PAT tested.

A pear shaped LED bulb would look good, but the choice is yours.

E27 (Edison screw) Maximum 60 watt incandescent/Halogen bulb (Bulb not included)

Cable and chain can be cut to desired length

Ceiling rose fitting
The nickel ceiling rose can be fitted over most existing plastic ceiling rose backs without disturbing existing wiring making it easy for your electrician to fit.

The rose is supplied with the manufacturer's fitting kit and full instructions.
All lights must be fitted by a qualified electrician.
