Golden age of British rail travel table lamp/desk lamp

This early 20th century railway signal lamp is made in steel with a copper oil container base.

The lamp has a hinged door with circular cutout on one side and on the other side it has a large fixed circular cut out both have there original scratched glass panels.
On the top is a single open cutout and a brass carrying handle.

The filler cap is marked  BR(W) for the Western region and the wick control nob has the makers name of “SHERWOODS BHAM LTD” (this lever is now in a fixed position)

I have added the aged brass feet to match the look and feel of this golden age of rail travel lamp.

A B22 2W Vintage spiral Golf Ball is included.
