The adaptor is shaped specifically for Manfrotto heads, it is easy to replace the RC2 plate holder with the new adaptor – simply unscrew the plate holder of the head with the provided Allen wrench, replace it with the adaptor and use the existing screw to fix the adaptor to the head. Once this has been done no further adaptors are needed between the top lock and shaped Manfrotto head stem.
