【Singer Songwriter: Jan Curious】

作為香港獨立與主流之間遊走的音樂人，Jan Curious 自 2008 年起以觸執毛主音身分為人熟悉。他以鮮明的演唱風格和具個性的創作見稱，兩張英語專輯收錄多首電台冠軍歌，並曾為許志安、王菀之、何韻詩等歌手創作。近年他積極拓展不同方向，包括 R.O.O.T. 的 R&B／hip hop 創作，以及與貝斯手 Tom 的電子企劃 Jan Curious & tombeats.；亦為電影《無雙》獻唱插曲〈Let Us Be The One〉，入圍金像獎最佳原創電影歌曲。除了音樂，他同時活躍於插畫及跨界藝術項目，持續以多媒體方式拓展自身創作。

鋼琴手 Bowen Li 畢業於倫敦聖三一音樂學院，主修爵士表演與作曲。回港後活躍於本地爵士及表演藝術界，與無極樂團、中英劇團等多個團體合作，並多次參與大型音樂節，包括西九自由爵士音樂節、康文署「爵士．樂」系列等。他以細膩的和聲運用與穩定的節奏感見稱，創作亦跨越劇場、多媒體與錄音項目，為香港近年活躍的爵士鋼琴新聲之一。

本次演出由 Jan Curious 與 Bowen Li 合作，選曲涵蓋 Jan 喜愛的粵語流行曲，其中部分將以爵士語法重新編曲，並演出 Jan Curious 專輯《亞水》的原創作品，亦會加入尚未上架串流平台的新曲。熟悉的旋律與新的編排交織，呈現兩人之間自然、開放的音樂對話。

Jan Curious is known as the frontman of Hong Kong band Chochukmo since 2008, recognized for his distinctive vocal style and songwriting that bridges indie and mainstream sensibilities. His two English albums produced several chart‑topping singles, and he has written for artists such as Andy Hui, Ivana Wong, and Denise Ho. In recent years, he has expanded into new directions through projects like the R&B/hip‑hop group R.O.O.T. and the electronic duo Jan Curious & tombeats. He also performed “Let Us Be The One” for Project Gutenberg, which was nominated for Best Original Film Song at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Beyond music, he remains active as an illustrator and cross‑media collaborator.

Pianist and composer Bowen Li graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London. Since returning to Hong Kong, he has been active in the jazz and performing arts scenes, collaborating with various ensembles and appearing at major festivals including Freespace Jazz Fest. Known for his nuanced harmonic sense and grounded rhythmic approach, he leads his own trio and contributes compositions to theatre, multimedia, and recording projects.

For this performance, Jan Curious will be joined by Bowen Li. They will present Cantopop songs that Jan loves—some re‑imagined with jazz elements—alongside original tracks from his album 亞水 and several unreleased songs.
